Heatbox

This is the only Heatbox performance in the Hills this season. Don’t miss it! Get your tickets today!

From Minneapolis, MN the return of the one-man vocal looping oddity-Heatbox. With his combination of layering his beatboxing, raps, Bobby McFerrin influenced jazz/soul singing, mimicking of instruments, crazy sound effects and wild humor, this artist never ceases to amaze and captivate his audiences. Much like That1Guy, Heatbox is something to be seen to be believed. Heatbox will grace the stage Saturday evening before Natty Nation…

Ron and Briana Funk and Agent Cooper would like to thank everyone that came out to support and celebrate The Shawn P. Funk April Fool’s Eve Birthday Ball. You helped us raise $815 for the foundation. Not bad for a Tuesday night! Thanks to all the artists–The MadHats, Noise Tractor, Spike Brandriet, and special thanks to Jim Gerdes and Chuck Will’s Widow. Thankyou, Jim. You are our hero of the day–supplying sound and playing drum tech in a dire, wintry situation. Everyone that came made the event joyous and the bands sounded great! All your continual support means everything.

Thanks to Leland Ruzicka of The Back Porch and Nick Caton of The Spearfish Chophouse & Whiskey Bar. These two venues were Shawn’s homes and look for these concerts to be annual installments, with the 2nd Annual Shawn P. Funk Memorial Concert at The Chophouse in October.
